No workout Thursday
This is an area where I get frustrated. My feet were still bothering me Thursday and I had to skip doing my Nordic Track. Injury is a difficult thing. Too often, I think I should push through anyway, but it usually has me worse off than before. This time I was smart, I took it as a rest day.
I did my grocery shopping, as you saw, and only brought one item that wasn't on my list home. Beef jerky, on sale. But I did eat a little of it that same night and the sodium content instantly bounced my weight from 227.2 to 228.8 the next morning! I guess jerky, though providing lots of protein, needs to stay a very occasional treat!
I wasn't too happy about the gain, since hubby and I had our delayed Valentine's dinner planned for Friday and I figured I might well have some sodium bloat after that meal as well. Still, it's water, and I *know* that, but it's hard seeing it there right in front of you on the scale.














I hate being injured as well. I always tend to try things to soon and end up being injured even longer. I think you are doing well giving it an extra day of rest. Good stuff.
